Soft, cozy, undyed, and very warm bed socks made from 100% yak wool.
My products are made in Mongolia. As Mongolian yaks live in mountainous regions, they have to cope with extreme weather conditions ranging from 30°C to -50°C. Therefore, yak wool is heat-retaining, temperature-regulating, and breathable. These horned animals, weighing up to 500 kg, impress with their massive bodies and calm, social disposition. Approximately 300g of hair can be combed out of a yak per year and processed into yak yarn. Furthermore, yak wool is a natural product that can be sustainably harvested and is 100% ecological.
Traditional herd farming in Mongolia does not involve housing animals in stables. The nomadic life is centered around the herd animals and their well-being. After winter, the animals' wool is combed out by individual herders and transported to weaving rooms for further processing.

Sehr schöne Socken,
Allerdings recht empfindlich. Die Wolle löst sich leider schon nach kurzer Zeit bzw. Die Socken dünnen sehr schnell aus. Wirklich Schade weil sie ansonsten so toll wärmen.
