The mittens are available in two colors. Both colors are natural and undyed.
The mittens can be worn on both sides. The main side has a knitted pattern and the inside is plain.

My products are manufactured in Mongolia. Since Mongolian yaks live in mountainous regions, they have to cope with extreme weather conditions ranging from 30°C to -50°C. Therefore, yak wool is heat-retaining, temperature-regulating and breathable. The up to 500 kg horned animals impress with their massive bodies, calm and social nature. Approximately 300g of hair can be combed out of one yak per year and processed into yak yarn. In addition, yak wool is a natural product that can be sustainably sourced and is 100% ecological.
Traditional herding in Mongolia does not require stabling. The nomadic life is geared towards the well-being of the herd animals. After winter, the wool of the animals is combed out by individual herders and transported to weaving mills for further processing.
